Advantage Printing and Mailing Attend Craft and Hobby Trade Show

Anaheim, CA  — Advantage Printing and Mailing executives headed off to ­­­­­­­­­­­­­Anaheim, CA to attend the ­­­­­­­Craft and Hobby (CHA)Trade Show at the Anaheim Convention Center.  This event, sponsored by BoBunny, Basic Grey, American Craft, and others drew hundreds of people from across the country as we gathered to look at the newest technologies and partnerships in the industry.

Advantage Printing and Mailing has made significant improvements this year in streamlining its printing and mailing distribution channels.  As a trusted partner for dozens of Fortune 500 corporations and government agencies, these improvements have benefited them greatly.

Advantage Mailing Gives Back to Local Community

During the Holiday season most people are shopping for toys and gifts for their friends and family and trying to find the best bargain.  This Holiday Season Advantage Mailing decided to host a Holiday Social to benefit two local organizations.

On December 14th Advantage collected unwrapped gifts and accepted donations on behalf of Toys for Tots and Coastal German Shepherd Rescue of Southern California.  Both these organizations are non for profit and have volunteers based in Orange County.

Advantage Mailing Taken Over by Toys for Tots

Local company, Advantage, in Anaheim CA decided to give back to the community this Holiday Season.  At their annual Holiday Party, guests were invited to bring unwrapped toys to donate to the Marine Toys for Tots charity. This was a great opportunity to get together with co-workers, clients, and friends, and to give back a little. Many people attended with toys in hand. There were several Toys for Tots boxes where guests could drop their toys. This freed up their hands so they were able to enjoy some snacks, dessert, and hot apple cider.  The holidays are a great time for people to reflect on the blessings they have and give to those less fortunate, who may not have as much.

 

Many toys were collected that day and later taken over to the Honda Center in Anaheim to “stuff a bus” with others from the local community. Tom Ling, Advantage President, accompanied by many other Advantage employees to part in the great event.  The event was shown later on the news to hopefully inspire some people to give back to those around them, not only during the holiday season, but the rest of the year as well.

Advantage Mailing Teams Up with US Post Office

In September, United States Postal Service teamed up with Advantage Inc. to host an open house for some of their strategic partners. Along with Advantage and the USPS,Advantage Mailing Open House were Xerox, Unisource, AWI, Ink Systems Corp., and Kodak. The event titled “Partners Moving Forward” was a great place for these companies to display some of their key products, information, and services. The Advantage team also gave small group tours throughout the day of their brand new facility in Anaheim, which encompasses over 160,000 square feet of state-of-the-art digital, data, print and mailing equipment.

The USPS gave two great presentations on some new postal products and also on the current State of the Postal Service. This was a great event for all the partners to get together and show their appreciation for one another in a “trade show” type environment. Advantage and the USPS have been partners for many years and hope to continue growing their relationship for years to come.

Local Business Aids Charity, Toys for Tots

On December 14, 2011 at their annual Holiday Social, Advantage Printing and Mailing not only wanted to celebrate the holiday season, but also wanted to give back to the local community. And what better way to give back then to put a smile on a child’s face.

Advantage benefited the local Toys for Tots charity by asking guests to bring unwrapped toys to the Social. The event took place from 3-8 pm and there was a great turnout, which means plenty of toys! There were drop boxes around the facility for guests to leave their toys for the charity.

After the party, Advantage heard about the “stuff a bus” event in which people surrounding the Anaheim area could all meet up and drop off their toy donations. Advantage president Tom Ling, accompanied by many other Advantage employees, all made their way to the Honda Center to join in the event.  They helped to “stuff a bus” with toys in order to make some children a little bit happier this holiday season.
